Roof Damage After a Wind Storm

Why does it seem like rain storms always hit after high winds? Ventura County is no stranger to high wind warnings, especially around the Fall Season. Although we don’t see many rainy days, it always seems that after the high winds start, rain follows. Here you can see a photo of some damage caused by the heavy winds. Always inspect your roofs after a heavy wind to make sure your shingles are intact. Roofs should be replaced every 10 years or so. Consult your roofer for their recommendations. Clear your gutters to avoid water collecting on your roof and causing damages.
