Engage your children to take part of your family safety plan. Repetition is key so you can stay calm during an emergency situation.

Summer is ending and just around the corner we have the Holiday Season. It’s important that our Ventura County Residents prepare their homes for the unexpected. As we prepare to place candles in our pumpkins, bake our Turkey’s and light up our Christmas trees, let’s take a pause before it all begins. Fire safety keeps your loved ones prepared and ready when an emergency arises.

Basic Fire Safety Check:

                *Fire Alarms & Carbon Monoxide Alarms (Battery, placement check)

                *Escape Plan (Do your little ones know the plan)

                *Fire Extinguishers (Accessible and near possible hazards)

Don’t wait for a disaster to strike. Take precautions when you have the time. Routine checks and running through your escape plan with your little ones makes a world of difference.
